We close out another year proud that we have helped 40 Westies find their forever homes, get the medical care they need or be able to live out their lives in our Forever Foster program. As many of you know, we have a unique place in our heart for seniors, and we take these dogs in, knowing that providing medical for them is extraordinarily expensive and placing them is not always easy.
This year, we took in 12 seniors, over the age of 9, of which 4 became forever fosters. It’s a need that we are able to fill with your donations and support. Thanks to you, this was truly the year of the seniors!
We need and welcome foster homes to help us open our arms even wider so no animal goes without the love and care they need. For this reason we strive to find them forever foster homes where they can live out their retirement years as a beloved family member. Gibbs, Herbert, Jack Beanstalk and Maverick qualify for our Forever Foster Program due to their advanced age or medical condition. Even when they have found their forever homes, WROC commits to providing them high-quality vet care for life.
